Dear Mitchell,
I must say- what a pleasure.
Working- and partying- with you was nothing but fun!
I think back on Saturday evening and first of all. I
see in my mind’s eye- that incredible chair. That
chair- sitting high and pretty, wild and unpredictable
and a bit decadent- and I think how prefect it was.
Such
a stroke of Mitchell’s genius and know- how. I
loved it!
Then, I see those enormous
shells with sprays of roses and prefect oysters just
saying it all. Then, I feel that warm amber lighting,
see the memorial candelabras. The shell votives. The
gorgeous tables and branch coral vases. I hear the good
sounds of Sucakes and I’m off- dancing around
the room.
Really, Mitchell, you
pulled everything forgotten with such panache. Chocolates
in the sand dunes. Palmettos at the shrine. That wonderful
Moroccan manager with the name the sounds like Eunice.
Plus, you were just
great working with four chatty hosts and our liberal
flow of emails and opinions. And, thank you very much.
I drank champagne all night long.
I’m so happy Marti
Atkins called with her inspirations of recommending
you for this venture. You made it all glorious and memorable
for Sue and that’s what matters most. Everybody
else seemed to have a good time, ton!
